Raingo obtint un brevet de cinq ans, le 18 juin 1810, pour la création de ce modèle décrit comme une "Pendule à sphère mouvante, propre à démontrer les éléments de la cosmographie et de la géographie.".
Le planétaire montre d'une part le mouvement de la lune autour de la terre, d'autre-part le mouvement de l'ensemble terre-lune autour du soleil, figuré par une boule dorée immobile. La cage portant l'ensemble terre-lune et son rouage peut être entraînée mécaniquement ou à la main par une manivelle.

1810 erhielt Raingo ein Fünfjahres-patent für den Bau dieses Modells, das beschrieben wird als "Pendeluhr mit sich bewegender Kugel zur Demonstration der Elemente der Kosmographie und der Geographie.".
Das Planetarium zeigt die Bewegung des Mondes um die Erde sowie die Bewegung der beiden Himmelskörper um die als unbewegliche vergoldete Kugel dargestellte Sonne. Das Gestell, das Erde und Mond und das dazu-gehörende Räderwerk trägt, kann über das Werk oder über eine Handkurbel angetrieben werden.
Clock with planetarium and musical mechanism.
Raingo was given a five-year patent on 18 June 1810 for the creation of this clock. It was described in the patent as a "Clock with a Moving sphere for showing the elements of cosmography and geography.".
The planetarium shows the movement of the moon around the earth as well as the movement of the earth ans moon around the sun, which is presented as a stationary gilded ball. The carriage carrying the earth and moon and its gear-train can be operated mechanically, or with a handle.
