Montre ronde émaillée, 1620-1640
Le fond du boîtier est peint sur émail d'une représentation de La Charité romaine, d'après une peinture de Simon Vouet. Le sujet, transformé en allégorie de la Charité, est tiré de l'Histoire grecque: le général Cimone, condamné à mourir de faim, fut secouru en prison par sa fille qui l'allaita. La surface émaillée présente des fêlures.
Sur le pourtour du boîtier, l'émailleur a peint une guirlande de fleurs dans un style naturaliste ;on y distingue des tulipes, des roses et des oeillets. Le contre-émail du fond représente un paysage: au premier plan, on remarque deux personnages (Judu et Thamar, d'après H.Boeckh) au bord d'une rivière, avec, au loin, l'enceinte d'une ville.
Le cadran en or émaillé présente David, l'épée à la main, après sa victoire sur le géant Goliath, d'après une oeuvre de Simon Vouet.
Le mouvement en laiton doré possède une fusée à corde à boyau, un échappement à roue de rencontre et quatre piliers en forme de balustre. Le coq et le cliquet, en laiton doré repercé et gravé, sont ornés de rinceaux et de fleurs de fraisier.
Le balancier annulaire en laiton, ainsi que le spiral, ont été ajoutés ultérieurement.
Runde emaillierte Uhr, 1620-1640
Auf dem Gehäuseboden eine Emailmalerei mit der Darstellung der Römischen Caritas, nach einem Gemälde von Simon Vouet. Das Thema, hier als Allegorie der Caritas, ist der griechischen Geschichte entnommen: General Cimone, zum Hungertode verurteilt, kommt seine Tochter im Gefängnis zu Hilfe und nährt ihn an ihrer Brust. Die Emailoberfläche weist Risse auf.
Das Gehäuse umrahmen naturalistisch Blumengirlanden in Emailmalerei; erkennbar sind Tulpen, Rosen und Nelken. Das Gegen-Email des Gehäusebodens zeigt eine Landschaft: im Vordergrund zwei Figuren (nach H. Boeckh: Judu und Thamar) am Ufer eines Flusses, in der Ferne eine Stadtmauer.
Das Zifferblatt in emailliertem Gold zeigt David mit gezücktem Schwert nach seinem Sieg über Goliath, nach Simon Vouet.
Das Werk aus vergoldetem Messing verfügt über eine Schnecke mit Darmsaite, eine Spindelhemmung und vier Balusterpfeiler. Unruhkloben und Sperrkegel aus Messing, vergoldet, durchbrochen und graviert, sind mit Ranken und Erdbeerblüten geschmückt.
Die ringförmige Unruh aus Messing und die Spiralfeder wurden später hinzugefügt.
Round enamelled watch, 1620-1640
A reproduction of Simon Vouet's painting, Roman Charity, is painted on enamel on the case-back. The subject, transformed into an allegory of Charity, is taken from Greek history: condemned to death by starvation in prison, General Cimon was kept alive by his daughter who suckled him. The enamelled surface is cracked.
The enameller has painted a garland of naturalistic tulips, roses and carnations around the circumference of the case. On the counter-enamel, there is a landscape with two people (Judu and Thomar, according to H. Boeckh) on a river bank in the foreground and the walls of a town in the background.
The enamelled gold dial depicts David, sword in hand and fresh from his victory over Goliath. The scene is taken from a painting by Simon Vouet.
The gilded brass movement has a fusee with gut line, a verge escapement and four baluster pillars. The gilded brass balance cock and pawl cover are pierced and engraved with scrolls and strawberry flowers.
Both the brass annular balance and the balance spring were added later.

镀金黄铜机芯，配有带加固线的链式发条、机轴擒纵装置和四根护栏支柱。镀金黄铜摆轮夹板和棘爪，配雕镂的卷曲花纹和草莓花。
黄铜圆形摆轮和摆轮游丝均为后期添加。
