Montre-bracelet électrique
Créé par le designer Richard Arbib, le boîtier en or, de forme fantaisie, est muni d’un bracelet noir, dont la partie gauche est recouverte d’or.
Le cadran noir, à index doré pour les heures, est orné au centre d’un symbole représentant une résistance électrique.
Le mouvement à contacts électriques est pourvu d’un système balancier-spiral sur lequel est fixée la bobine.
Première montre-bracelet électrique du monde à être fabriquée industriellement, cette montre fut dénommée en 1957 aux Etats-Unis comme « la montre du futur » par la société Hamilton.

Das von dem Designer Richard Arbib geschaffene Goldgehäuse in Fantasieform wird an einem schwarzen Armband getragen, dessen linke Hälfte mit Gold überzogen ist.
Das schwarze Zifferblatt mit vergoldeten Stundenindexen trägt im Zentrum als Dekor das Symbol eines elektrischen Widerstandes.
Das Werk mit elektrischen Kontakten enthält ein Unruh-Spiralsystem, auf dem die Spule befestigt ist.
Diese erste industriell gefertigte elektrische Armbanduhr der Welt wurde 1957 von Hamilton in den USA als “Uhr der Zukunft ” bezeichnet.
Electric wristwatch
Created by the designer Richard Arbib, the shaped gold case has a black strap, with the left side covered in gold.
The black dial, which has gilded hour markers, is decorated at the centre with a symbol of an electrical resistor.
The electric contact movement has a balance and spring system to which the coil is fixed.
This watch was the first electric wristwatch in the world to be manufactured industrially. In 1957, Hamilton called it “the watch of the future”.
